Let There Be Light: The Seven Days of Creation

The first chapter of Genesis describes the creation "of heaven and earth" as happening over six eventful days, with a seventh day of rest. For the Jewish mystical tradition this creation narrative is a template for spiritual development. Join us for a seven-week exploration of each of these "days," in which we will consider: What aspects of reality come into being each "day"? What are their qualities? Who/what is "Elohim/God" as creator? How can acknowledging the essential goodness of creation help us navigate the problematic human behavior that follows creation? Let's bring some light into the dark days of winter!
